Novo álbum da pianista Erika Ribeiro, lançado pela Gravadora Rocinante (2026). Neste trabalho, a artista propõe uma escuta contemporânea e profundamente brasileira da obra de Heitor Villa-Lobos, explorando sua riqueza rítmica e suas raízes culturais a partir de uma abordagem coletiva e inovadora.
Ao lado de Marcelo Galter, Reinaldo Boaventura, Ldson Galter e Natália Mitre, Erika constrói uma sonoridade singular que combina piano acústico e wurlitzer com contrabaixo, marimba, berimbau e percussões diversas. O repertório transita entre peças raras, como New York Skyline e Feijoada sem Perigo, e clássicos como Bachianas nº 4 e Alma Brasileira, revelando um Villa-Lobos pulsante e atual.
Com arranjos majoritariamente assinados por Marcelo Galter e direção artística em parceria com Sylvio Fraga, o disco nasce de uma pesquisa coletiva que amplia os significados da obra original sem perder sua essência. O resultado é um álbum vibrante, sensorial e inventivo — um convite à redescoberta de Villa-Lobos por meio de uma escuta viva, física e emocional.
